This post is to inform you of a few things: First, Posterous doesn't exist anymore after being purchased and killed by Twitter. Therefore a lot of photos on old blog posts are gone. These pictures aren't coming back, sorry.
Second, and much more fun, I started a new Amateur Radio Blog and plan to post there daily for a while and regularly as long as I still have things to talk about. Here's a link: The Nerdcave
This blog will probably be more of a personal thing that contains random thoughts, political BS, and any other writing that comes out of my head.
Thanks and see you around the internet.
My cousin, and favorite clone, WØZZY has some weird aversion to
drilling holes in his car. For this reason the following project
replaces the stock FM broadcast antenna with a 1/4 wave vertical. The
mount would also accept any other antenna that uses a 3/8x24
connection (within reason).
The following is not meant to be a how-to but rather a description of
yet another half-asses nerd night idea. First, take out the stock
antenna without breaking anything. Then improvise a way to fit it all back into the hole with a 3/8x24 mount instead of the stock antenna. Every car is different.
